Hello!

I am a Picturebook Maker and Senior Lecturer in Illustration at The University of The West of England.

I have written and illustrated two picture books,
​‘Hattie Peck’ and ‘Hattie Peck The Journey Home’.
The former, highly commended in the Macmillan Children’s Book Prize and shortlisted for the AOI Illustration Awards. Both books have been translated worldwide in multiple languages. Over the summer of 2025, I charted in The New York Times Bestsellers list.

I have illustrated numerous picturebooks for a variety of publishers and recently illustrated the ‘Adventure Mouse’ Word Sparks series with Oxford University Press.

I am based in Cardiff, Wales.
Nature and the everyday are a huge part of what informs my work and I thrive in my surroundings, which provide a fertile ground for inspiration. Connections and collaborations are extremely valuable to my creative practice.
